Orientation Workshop for the Community Wide Dialogue to Change Program
Facilitated by Mary Brennan, Sally Thompson and Dr Mark Brophy from the Australian Study Circles Network.

Community Wide Dialogue to Change Programs:
- Use "dialogue" and "deliberation" to explore issues of common concern and to develop solutions,
- Empower diverse groups of ordinary community members to work together to bring about change in their lives and their communities,
- Are particularly successful with communities with a high level of diversity or in a process of change,
- Are based on the work of Everyday Democracy in the US, and on the 125 year old Swedish Study Circle movement, customised for an Australian context.
At this workshop you will experience a Dialogue Session, learn more about the program and see examples of practice from both here and the US.
